Yet another splurge day as we woke up in Hocking after a restless night (too much ice cream and oreos for the two year old!). Had breakfast with mom and Uncle Greggie, then sped off towards home to get the toddler a nap and mom a well deserved break cleaning up the house and getting my newspaper article finished then off to a grad party. Needless to say I stopped at taco bell again and I splurged my butt off today. Yet again I am going to blame it on the pred. I did get a few nice compliments today (although I am finding it hard to take these as I am used to being called overweight and other terms). Someone called me the "amazing disappearing woman" which was nice and others commented on how much I had lost. I thank the guy at the gas station for what seemed to be him hitting on me as it was flattering but makes me realize that I need to go get my wedding ring re-fitted so I can wear it more often. I have lost so much weight that even with the spacer it flies off if I go into a "talking with the hands" moment.
This is my way to hold myself accountable for all that I eat in a day and finally persevere over my weight management issues. I will post my weight as I go (hopefully). I want to be healthy and a good weight for my son so I can be just as active as he is. Let's see if this works!
Accountability and Perseverance
Accountability:
To be responsible for someone or something.
I am holding myself accountable for my
present weight; not anyone else.
Perseverance:
To finish what you have started. Continued
steady belief or efforts, withstanding
discouragement or difficulty; persistence.
I will persevere if I acknowledge that this is my
own fight and I have something precious that is
worth fighting for.
