I really have to get better about doing my blog posts. I have been doing this for almost two years now and I am back up to my beginning weight which is frustrating. I am more fit though and I think I look and feel better on that scale. I am back in size 16 jeans although I was in size 20-22 when I started. I am going to go back to working out with my instructor at least twice a month and I will be trying to do Zumba twice weekly. It is and always has been a problem with food for me. That is something that I don't know how to deal with. The battle will always continue but at least my son will know that through it all I am doing this so I will be with him longer, I just wish the rest of my family would do the same. The house building is getting stressful, prices are higher than I ever expected and I find myself turning to chocolate to solve my inner turmoil more and more. I just want it to be thanksgiving and all of us gathered in my new kitchen and dinning room. When life hands you lemons make lemonade, preferably with truvia to reduce the calories, lol. Looking forward to having Easter with the family, I will be trying my hand at homemade potato and cheese pierogis.
This is my way to hold myself accountable for all that I eat in a day and finally persevere over my weight management issues. I will post my weight as I go (hopefully). I want to be healthy and a good weight for my son so I can be just as active as he is. Let's see if this works!
Accountability and Perseverance
Accountability:
To be responsible for someone or something.
I am holding myself accountable for my
present weight; not anyone else.
Perseverance:
To finish what you have started. Continued
steady belief or efforts, withstanding
discouragement or difficulty; persistence.
I will persevere if I acknowledge that this is my
own fight and I have something precious that is
worth fighting for.
